Destroyer Escort Historical Museum
The USS Slater. Moored on the Hudson River in Albany, New York, the USS Slater has undergone an extensive ten-year restoration that has returned the ship to her former glory. The ship is open to the public from April through November with hour-long guided tours, youth group overnight camping, and has become a popular destination for naval reunion groups.

Historic Cherry Hill
This 18th-century Georgian-style house was the heart and home of a five-generation Albany Family. Built in 1787 for Philip and Maria Van Rensselaer, the house and its contents were bequeathed by the last surviving family member, Emily Rankin, to benefit the people of New York State.

THE NORMAN ROCKWELL MUSEUM

TANGLEWOOD

The Egg at Empire State Plaza
The Egg houses two theatres - the Lewis A. Swyer Theatre and the Kitty Carlisle Hart Theatre. Seating 450, the Swyer Theatre is used for chamber music concerts, cabaret, lectures, multimedia presentations, solo performers and a majority of educational programming. With a seating capacity of 982, the Hart Theatre is used for larger productions including musical theatre, dance and music concerts.
